Atlanta Makes ROOM - Concentrics Restaurants Launches First Steakhouse Concept

Atlanta, Ga. (March 9, 2007) – Bob Amick of Concentrics Restaurants knows what Atlantans have room for.   Along with Novare Group, Amick will launch the company’s first steakhouse concept, appropriately named Room, in TWELVE^® Centennial Park late this summer.  Designed by Thom Williams and ASD Architects, the restaurant will give new meaning to the steakhouse.

Executive Chef Nick Oltarsh, highly acclaimed for contemporizing classic American dishes, will create the modern American steakhouse menu for Room.  A wide selection of prime meats and fish offered broiled or wood-grilled anchor the menu, and an array of skewered dishes from the Tandoori oven, as well as a small but unique selection of sushi, add playful, international undercurrents, making Room anything but the typical steakhouse. Like other restaurants in the Concentrics family, Room will be a moderately priced, casual dining experience.

As with Lobby at TWELVE^® in Atlantic Station, Room at TWELVE Centennial Park functions as the nexus of energy and excitement for the hotel.  At once a stimulating hot spot to sip on handcrafted cocktails and people-watch and a relaxing destination for exceptional wines and foods, Room will provide an extraordinary dining experience for hotel guests, residents and locals alike.  Room will be conveniently located in the center of Atlanta ’s growing downtown, making it an ideal gathering and dining place before and after the city’s happenings.

Novare Group, the Atlanta-based developer of high-rise condominiums including TWELVE Hotels & Residences, and Concentrics Hospitality have an official partnership to develop unique chef-driven restaurants in all TWELVE Hotels & Residences throughout the Southeast. The relationship between the two companies began with the creation of the popular restaurant Lobby at TWELVE within TWELVE Atlantic Station^®.
